There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my 25+ years of experience as a Flagstaff real estate professional and appraiser, I’ve also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. This “client first” philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business.
In addition, I’ve found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I’ve always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They’ve also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
So when you decide that you’d like to buy or sell a home in the Flagstaff areas, please contact me. I also provide consulting services for specialized areas that include easements and right of way. With 20 years of experience in governmental real estate services I can assist you in these unique situations.
As a Flagstaff resident since 1985, my husband Denny and I raised our family here and enjoy working and recreating in our mountain town which has so much to offer. After 5 years now working in Real Estate, I still find it rewarding helping others find their dream home and/ or working towards exploring new horizons. Prior to Real Estate, I served over 30 years as a Forester and Public Relations Specialist here on the Coconino National Forest, commuting 16 of these years to Sedona. Even though I loved my Forest Service career, I now love spending time working in Real Estate with my husband Denny, Rocky Ridge Realty broker, and having more time for skiing, hiking, riding horses or lake time.
Most important, as a small Real Estate team, I am proud of our one-on-one customer service which goes above-and-beyond what larger companies can offer with Northern Arizona mountain properties. We never out-source our work, rather we give you our full attention to meet your personal Real Estate needs.
My love affair with property and homes began at an early age. I purchased my first home as a single 25-year-old on an island in Maine and never looked back. I am always on the lookout for new opportunities in real estate. After 25 years of directing non-profit organizations, I finally decided to jump into a new career as a Realtor. Now my hobby of real estate searching, dreaming, and designing has become a business.
I am fortunate to have found Rocky Ridge Realty and become a member of their team. Denny and Connie’s customer first attitude fits right into my own business principles. As a new Realtor, but a very experienced and successful businesswomen, I will work diligently to find you a property meeting your needs and budget. Together we will search, explore, and discover the perfect home.
My husband and I moved to the Sedona -Verde Valley area 11 years ago. We enjoy the diverse beauty of the high desert, the constant sunshine, the ability to be outside every day of the year, camping year round, meeting new people from around the country who have also chosen Arizona as their home, entertaining, walking our two rescue dogs, renovating our home, gardening and biking on our new Ebikes. We even find occasional time to canoe the Verde River.
I have been passionate about land, property, and home ownership ever since I was a child. I studied geography and geology in college, and became a seasonal park ranger for several years, researching details of nature and history and sharing it with the public. My love of Flagstaff began as a park ranger and since, I have spent my energy coordinating logistics, administrative details, and marketing for a branch of the government. I have also worked in contracting and as crazy as it sounds, I still LOVE reading every line of a contract, My core values include quality customer service and working as part of the team.
I continue my administrative work alongside my real estate duties as it keeps my business communication, negotiation, and finance skills sharp. I accept a limited number of clients at one time so I can deliver individualized, 24/7 attention.
Volunteerism and community service are important to me as well. I volunteer with Coconino County Search and Rescue and I serve on the advisory board for the Friends of Flagstaff Area National Monuments. I am an avid cross-country skier and explorer and have a great memory for maps and locations. I live with my spouse, who works at Northern Arizona University (NAU). In our free time we like to walk our dog, hike, kayak, relax on the porch, read, watch comedy TV shows with our dog, and of course….go look at houses.
